Supetar – the beautiful and only town on the island of Brac is located on the north side of the island in the bay of Sv. Petar (after whom it was named) and today with its 4000 inhabitants it is the largest settlement on the island. It is the administrative center of the island and is connected to all places by bus lines, while it is connected to Split by ferry.
The city is one of the main tourist centers of Dalmatia and with its rich history dating back to Roman times, it attracts more and more guests The town is surrounded by beautiful natural resources, bays and beaches. Some of the beaches where you can enjoy the beautiful clear and blue sea are: Babin laz, Tri mosta and Pliva.

WHAT SIGHTS TO VISIT IN SUPETAR?
Supetar waterfront
One of the main attractions is the Supetar waterfront, which with its long promenade and beautiful views leaves guests breathless. It is a great place to enjoy Dalmatian specialties in many restaurants or drinks and you could also have some ice cream.
Parish church
As you walk along the waterfront, you will come across the Church of the Annunciation, built in the 17th century. This protected property burned down in a fire in 1729, after being restored and retaining the same appearance to this day.
Parish Museum of St. Peter
This museum is located directly next to the parish church, contains many works of art and is definitely worth a visit.
Mausoleum of the Petrinović family
On the west side of the city cemetery there is a beautiful mausoleum where you can see a building with five domes and two early Christian sarcophagi.
Ivan Rendić Gallery
Ivan Rendić is a Croatian sculptor and artist born in Supetar. A gallery consisting of 20 sculptures, 50 original drawings and projects, and numerous photographs and documents was made in his honor. The gallery is located within the city library of Supetar.
WHICH EVENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN?
Within the program of Supetar Summer numerous exhibitions, concerts, festivals, folklore and klapa evenings, fishing festivals, drama performances, literary meetings, presentations, etc. are organized.

Supetarska Fair
The Supetar Fair is held on June 29. It is the day of the city of Supetar and is held every year with a celebration on the waterfront, which is accompanied by live music, various gastronomic offer and fireworks.
Film festival
Brac Film Festival is an international feature film festival for debutants and young filmmakers from Europe and the Mediterranean countries. It is held every year in the Supetar summer cinema.
