Connection by ship

From ancient times, Brac is connected by boat lines. Before the construction of large passenger ships, people came ashore in small wooden boats. With the development of shipbuilding, the first passenger ships appeared, steamships, which connected Brač and Split, and older people called them “vapor”. The former “steamers” that came once a week have today been replaced by ferries that sail daily and more frequently. Sea transport services are provided by the company “Jadrolinija“. “Jadrolinija” connects Split and Supetar, Split and Bol and Split and Milna with numerous lines of ferries and catamarans. Brač can be reached by ferry from Makarska, which docks in the ferry port Sumartin. Airport Brač

The idea of ​​opening an airport on the island appeared in the 90s and was realized in 1992. It was inaugurated on May 6, 1993. The airport is equipped to receive and dispatch passenger aircraft with up to 100 seats. Bus lines

Supetar Bus Station is well connected with other places on the island of Brač by bus lines, such as Bol, Sutivan, Milna, Sumartin, Postira and Pučišća, and during the season by daily connections with Zagreb.
